The creator of Hello Kitty met with fans on Friday at Ala Moana Center.
Yuko Yamaguchi signed autographs and even made drawings for those who lined up to meet her.
Fans were also treated to Hello Kitty inspired manicures and even got to make food shaped like the illustrated feline.
Yamaguchi is visiting the islands from Japan, where she’s spent over 30 years perfecting one of Sanrio’s most iconic characters.
