Art project at Waimanalo Beach Park taken down

If you went to Waimanalo Beach Park over the past few days, you probably saw these and thought what are they?

Turns out, these metal poles were part of an art project.

But the city says the artist who put them up didn’t get a permit to do so.

So now, they’ve now been taken down.
