Mercer consulting firm has again ranked Honolulu as the American city with the best quality of life.
"Honolulu is a fantastic place to live, work and raise a family, and it’s perfectly poised to be the lean, clean, smart city of the future," Honolulu Mayor Peter Carlisle said.
Mercer ranked Honolulu number one for the United States in 2011 and 2012, after considering 39 factors such as public services, recreation, natural environment, and law enforcement.
