Maui firefighters responded to a brush fire in Lahaina Tuesday morning.
According to officials, the fire broke just after 8:15 a.m. on the top of Kapunakea Street.
Crews arrived to find a 3,500 square foot area of brush involved.
The fire was contained at about 8:40 a.m. and extinguished just before 9 a.m.
No damages or injuries were reported.
Officials say the cause of the fire was due to downed transmission lines.
