A 32-year-old man suffered serious injuries after he was run over by a police officer patrolling Aala Park.
According to officials, the incident happened at about 3:45 p.m.
Police say the officer was driving around the park to prevent illegal activity when she ran over a man who was lying on the grass.
Police closed off a section of the park while they investigated.
The victim was taken to the Queen’s Medical Center with serious injuries.
