The lights are back on for some Maui residents on Tuesday night.
A fire started at a Maui electric company’s sub-station in Lahaina– and that knocked out the power Tuesday morning.
The fire started at the sub-station on Pu’ukoli’i Road just after 6:30.
Power was finally restored to all customers at around 1p.m.
Officials say the fire caused one-million dollars damage, and is still under investigation.
