Copper thieves strike again, service cut to Hawaiian Telcom customers

Copper thieves have struck again, cutting service to dozens of Hawaiian Telcom customers on Oahu.

Over a week ago, thieves cut the company’s service cables.
It took days for crews to access the area and fix the connection.
Now the thieves have hit again — cutting the same cable.
About 50 customers are without service while crews repair the damaged line.

It’s not clear when service will be restored.
