After 47 years, Byron’s Drive-In will be closing down at the end of February.
The place near the Honolulu Airport is known for shrimp burgers, oyster burgers, more recently, other deep fried treats like Twinkies and Oreos.
The owners say the landlord wants to tear down the building.
There are no plans to relocate.
Byron’s will close at 10 p.m. on Feb. 28, 2013.
