A Mililani famlily had quite a scare Friday morning when a lightning strike hit their home.
It happened around 8:25 a.m.
The lightning hit the roof, went through to the carport and then fried copper tubing and pvc pipe in the laundry room.
No injuries were reported.
"I’ve never seen lighting like this," said Shimabukuru. "This is usually a quiet peaceful neighborhood. Luckily no one got hurt," said David Shimabukuru.
