Dozens spent their Saturday morning beautifying the Kalihi neighborhood.
Volunteers painted over graffiti, cleaned streets, and enjoyed food and live entertainment.
The work is part of project CLEAN (Community Lokahi to Enrich our Aina Now), put together by the Honolulu police department.
The goal is to clean up neighborhoods by painting out graffiti and removing trash.
