U.S. Secretary of the Army, John McHugh just wrapped up his tour of the islands on Saturday.
McHugh has been here for the last couple of days meeting with military officials and touring some of the military facilities here in the islands.
He also took time out to visit with some injured soldiers who are at Tripler.
"They lifted my spirits and their courage and their determination and maturity with which they take on the challenges that they place before them is just breathtaking," McHugh said.
McHugh left Oahu on Saturday afternoon.
He now heads across the Pacific for an official visit to Asia.
