New farmers market opens in Kailua on Sunday

Farmers markets have become so popular in Hawaii, especially on Oahu.

On Sunday a brand new farmers market opens in Kailua.

It’ll be held at Kailua Elementary School.

There will be a blessing, then the farmers market will open to shoppers at 9 a.m.

Expect more than 40 vendors selling all kinds of locally grown veggies, fruits, plants, fish, and prepared foods.

The new market is being put on by the same group that holds the Ala Moana and Haleiwa farmers markets.
