Honolulu police are looking for Kyle Madrid.
"On October 28th, 2003 at about 11:50 p.m., three female tourists were walking towards their hotel on Paoakalani Avenue when they were approached by a male from behind," said Sgt. Kim Buffett. "The male attempted to grab a wallet out of one of the female’s hand. They struggled. He injured her by scratching her and knocking her down, and was able to flee to a nearby waikiki sunset hotel. Officers talked to security at the hotel, who observed the male running in and took him to the room that he was registered to."
Madrid was arrested for theft.
He’s now wanted on a $50,000 warrant for not showing up for sentencing last month.
Kyle Madrid is 32 years old, 5’5", and 187 pounds.
"He’s known to frequent the Honolulu and Maui areas and has 21 prior arrests," said Buffett.
