UPDATE: Hawaii’s Most Wanted: Michael Souza-Davis caught

UPDATE: (March 16, 2013) Michael Souza-Davis who we featured in January was arrested in Waianae thanks to a tip from the public. He was wanted on five warrants in connection with several car break in cases.

On Hawaii’s Most Wanted we feature a man who’s wanted on warrants in connection with several car break-in cases.

Honolulu police are looking for Michael Souza-Davis.

"July 29, 2010, at 1:20am, officers were sent to Ka Uka Blvd on a report of a vehicle that was just broken into. The complainants gave the identification of the male and the description of the car he fled in. About 10 minutes later, at 1:30am, the officers stopped the car on Kamehameha Highway and Meheula Parkway and conducted a traffic stop. In the vehicle was the items reported stolen," said Sgt. Kim Buffett with Crimestoppers.

Souza-Davis was arrested for unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle.

He was also arrested for that for two other cases,  plus, "in the last case, July 12, 2011, at 8:20pm two males entered the Maili Deli Store and were captured on video stealing the cash register and cigarettes. They were positively identified and one of the males was Souza-Davis," said Sgt. Buffett.

He was arrested for theft.

And now, he’s wanted for five warrants totaling $100,000 for not complying with the terms of HOPE Probation.

Michael Souza-Davis is 29 years old, 6 foot 2 and 214 pounds.

"He does have 10 prior convictions and is known to frequent the Waianae area," concluded Sgt. Buffett.
