The concert will be held on on Saturday, May 4 at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center’s Yokouchi Pavilion/A&B Amphitheater.
Backed by his full band, Frey’s only public performance in Hawaii will feature songs spanning the singer-songwriter’s entire career for an unforgettable evening under the stars.
Both as solo artist and as a member of the Eagles, Frey has received countless accolades and numerous gold and platinum records. Frey is a founding member, vocalist and songwriter of the Eagles, who become one of the most influential bands in America.
He penned some of the most celebrated Eagles songs, including classics like "Desperado," "Tequila Sunrise," "Best of My Love," "One of These Nights," "Lyin’ Eyes," "Take It to the Limit," "Hotel California," and "Life in the Fast Lane." As a solo artist, he released a string of well-received albums and scored hits with "The Heat is On," "You Belong to the City," and "Smuggler’s Blues."
The Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums worldwide, earned five No. 1 U.S. singles and six Grammy Awards. Their Greatest Hits 1971-1975 is the best-selling album of all time, exceeding sales of 29 million units. The band’s Hotel California and Eagles Greatest Hits, Vol. 2 have sold more than 16 million and 11 million albums, respectively. The Eagles were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1998.
