A couple charged in an alleged road rage incident made their first appearance in court on Monday.
Kenneth Kalaukoa and Geraldine Mahi-Kalaukoa both pleaded not guilty.
The incident happened last week in Kapolei.
According to Honolulu Police, the victims and suspects exchanged words on the road.
When they stopped at the intersection, the victims say the male suspect opened the passenger-side door and punched a 20-year-old man in the face.
The victims say the female suspect then opened the driver’s side door and tried to pull the driver out of the car.
Both suspects were released on bail.
Trial is expected to begin on May 28.
