Trial week pushed back for man accused of deadly shooting spree

The man accused of a deadly random shooting spree in June was back in court Tuesday morning.

Toby Stangel is accused of killing a Palolo woman Tammy Nguyen, and injuring two others.

He is also accused of shooting at police officers on the H-1 Freeway.

On Tuesday, Stangel’s attorney asked for an extension on the trial week.

It was granted and trial is now set for October 10.

Stangel is being held on $5 million bail.
