State agriculture officials say a dead bat was found Tuesday inside a container being unloaded at a Hawaii Kai store.
They’re not sure what kind of bat it was due to the condition in which it was found.
Meantime, results are expected tomorrow from a rabies test on an opossum that was discovered Monday, also inside a shipping container.
The animal was euthanized so that it could be tested for diseases.
