The state is alerting drivers to a full closure of the H-1 freeway this weekend.
All westbound lanes will be closed from Halawa to Aiea starting at ten o’clock Sunday night through four o’clock Monday morning.
Crews will be installing traffic detectors.
The closure will affect westbound traffic on the H-1, H-3 and Moanalua freeways.
Drivers will be detoured onto Moanalua Road and Kamehameha highway.
While the full closure will not begin until ten o’clock at night, two left lanes will be closed starting at 5 p.m.
A third lane will be closed starting at 7 o’clock.
