The man who surrendered to Maui police after a 50 hour stand-off remains in police custody.
Josiah Okudara is being held on two warrants totaling more than half a million dollars.
He has not yet been charged for the barricade situation that forced nearly 30 people out of their homes.
Police say Okudara was wanted in connection with a shooting in July of last year, and also a fatal crash earlier this year.
