A new poll shows Ed Case and Mazie Hirono neck-and-neck in the Democratic primary for U.S. Senate.
The poll released by the Case campaign has Case at 46 percent and Hirono at 45 percent, with 9 percent undecided and a 3.8 percent margin of error.
Nearly 670 likely democratic voters were polled last week.Case called on Hirono to debate after she turned down several invitations including one for this weekend’s statewide Democratic party convention.
Hirono said "The people of hawaii want a senator like Mazie Hirono… not someone who attacks other people with personal pettiness and a divisive approach."
