Acres of land beneath a Waimanalo farm up for sale

The land sitting on a local farm that distributes produce to dozens of grocers around the state is up for sale. The owner of Waimanalo Farms, Dean Okimoto, told the Star Advertiser that he plans to sell 2.5 acres of land that was passed down to him by his parents. He also plans to transfer a lease on 14 acres of nearby land to some of his workers. It’s an effort to keep Nalo Farms operating under his partnership. Right now, the land is listed at $1.3 million.
