The state Department of Transportation advises Oahu motorists of multiple lane closures on Ala Moana Boulevard in both directions between Smith Street and Kalakaua Avenue on Sunday night, October 28, through Friday morning, November 2, from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., nightly, for cold planing, paving, and streetlight installations and sidewalk repairs.
• Westbound traffic may be detoured between Ward Avenue and Queen Street. Drivers may use Ward Avenue to Auahi Street and Queen Street as a detour route back to Ala Moana Boulevard.
•Access to Ohe Street and Koula Street from Ala Moana Boulevard will be closed. Eastbound motorists may use Coral Street and Ilalo Street and westbound motorists may use Ilalo Street as an alternate route.
Nighttime: Two lane closures on Ala Moana Boulevard in the eastbound direction between Forth Street and Richard Street on Sunday, October 28, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., for utility installations. Traffic detours will also be in effect at the following locations:
• Eastbound traffic may be detoured between Alakea Street and Punchbowl Street. Drivers may use Alakea Street to Queen Street and Punchbowl Street as a detour back to Ala Moana Boulevard.
