Alaska Airlines is adding a new weekly, seasonal service between Anchorage and Kona, Hawaii with introductory tickets starting at $249.
The nonstop flight to Kona begins Nov. 10 and ends April 7, 2013.
The flights will be operated with Boeing 737-800 aircraft, accommodating 16 passengers in first class and 141 in the main cabin.
Alaska Airlines will celebrate its new service to Kona throughout the summer by giving away 49 tickets to Hawaii at fairs, on local radio stations and at other community events.
