The APEC summit is expected to draw protestors and some of them are getting an early start.
Honolulu police officers dressed in their special APEC uniforms monitored the crowd to make sure nothing crazy happened.
At least 50 people held signs and marched from Thomas Square to the Capitol, protesting the APEC summit.
The protestors were joined by some people participating in the Occupy Honolulu movement.
