An assault charge against a former pee wee football coach has been dropped.
Ionatana Alualu is accused of hitting a player from an opponent’s team.
Alualu was expected in court Thursday but the assault charge was dismissed.
A spokesperson from the prosecutor’s office says new charges will be re-filed.
