A barricade situation ended peacefully Saturday night after police successfully talked a man out of a building in Manoa.
A crisis negotiation team was called in shortly after 5:30 p.m. after the man barricaded himself after attempting to steal items from an office attached to the Honolulu Christian Preschool.
Shortly after 11:00 p.m. the man was taken to an area hospital for a mental evaluation. He has not been arrested as of this time.
