The Hawaii Chapter of the American Red Cross has received another big donation to help with the relief efforts in Japan.
The Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation donated $100,000 to the Red Cross.
The Red Cross has been providing money, clothes, blankets, and medical supplies to help those affected by the March 11 earthquake and tsunami in Japan.
"We are so grateful to the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg Foundation for their compassion in this time of great tragedy," said Coralie Chun Matayoshi, Chief Executive Cfficer of the Hawaii State Chapter of the American Red Cross. "Their generosity will help us continue to provide compassionate relief and recovery to the people of Japan. We cannot thank them enough for their wonderful contribution to the cause of humanity."
Hawaii residents have already donated more than $3 million to the cause.
