Big Island Police are asking for witnesses to a large rock that was thrown at a moving car.
A 59-year-old Pahoa man told police he was driving his van on highway 130 when a man on the side of the road threw a large rock at his windshield.
Police say no was injured in the accident.
They arrested 49-year-old John Vezina of Hilo on suspicion of first degree criminal property damage.
vezina is being held in police custody while they investigate.
