Big Island Peace Day Parade and Festival

Over on the Big Island, hundreds dressed in different colors and marched the streets of Honoka’a for the sixth annual "Peace Day Parade and Festival."

The festivities are in honor of the United Nations International Day of Peace to promote compassion in the community.

Proceeds from the festival will go towards community services, and various charities.
