Boulders fell on three Kalihi homes Thursday night. They came down the hill on Kula Kolea Drive just before 9 p.m.
There are no reported injuries and no roads have been closed.
The Fire Department says the three homes sustained substantial damage.
The Department of Emergency Management has been called to asses the damage.
There are as many as 15 homes in the area that may be at risk and residents are being advised to spend the night elsewhere.
The Red Cross has been notified to assist any families that may be in need.
