A popular eatery on Kauai is expanding to Oahu.
Brick Oven Pizza will open at the Crossroads at Kapolei later this year. Brick Oven Pizza is a family-owned operation that has been one of the most popular Kauai restaurants for visitors and locals for almost 30 years. Pizzas are baked directly on brick hearth, brushed with garlic butter, and topped with cheeses and long-simmering homemade sauces.
The Kapolei restaurant will be a 3,050-square-foot eatery, opening in December 2011, with a full menu offering a wide variety of pizza favorites, plus appetizers, hot sandwiches made on French-style Poor Boys and specialty desserts such as Aloha Ice Cream Pie.
"We are excited about the opening of Brick Oven Pizza at Crossroads at Kapolei. Now we will have a popular, locally-owned pizzeria restaurant in the heart of Kapolei, Oahu’s ‘second city.’ Access to the shopping center will be even easier once the H-1 Interchange at Wakea Street is complete. And, the shopping center was designed with ample parking!" said Carol Ai May, Crossroads at Kapolei spokesperson.
Crossroads at Kapolei Shopping Center is located at the intersection of Kamokila Boulevard and Wakea Street and is adjacent to the Kapolei 16-Plex Theater.
Brick Oven Pizza has two Kauai locations, in Kalaheo and Kapaa.
