Big Island fire crews are working to put out a brush fire that broke out Friday morning in Ka’u.
Fire officials say they were called around 10:30 a.m. to the fire in a ravine near Highway 11 and Lower Moa’ula Road.
Officials say the fire is located is in a deep ravine in between two macadamia nut orchards, making it difficult to access.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
