A Makiki man accused of a home invasion in Kaneohe apparently sought refuge in a tree.
Police received a tip of a suspicious vehicle on Mauli Place Wednesday.
Officers determined it was linked to a home burglary and arrested two people but a 38-year-old Makiki man ran off.
Police found him in a tree on William Henry Road and arrested him on several counts including burglary, resisting arrest and terroristic threatening.
Nearby Benjamin Parker Elementary School was on lockdown for an hour.
