Canadian lottery scammer caught in Honolulu by Feds

A Canadian man accused of tricking people in a lottery scam was arrested by FBI agents in Honolulu.

Williams Njoku was picked up last night at Honolulu Airport on mail and wire fraud charges.

He will be held in custody over the weekend, with a hearing Monday morning to decide if he will be escorted back to California to face the charges.

The 35-year-old Njoku graduated from college in 2010 with a degree in criminology.

If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in prison.
