A popular restaurant at Aloha Tower Marketplace will be closing its doors at the end of the month.
Chai’s Island Bistro owner and chef, Chai Chaowasaree, said the restaurant is closing on December 31 because the lease was not renewed.
Chai’s Island Bistro has been located at the Marketplace for nearly 14 years.
Chaowasaree said he’s opening a new smaller restaurant in the Honolulu Pacifica Building in February 2013.
