The ukulele took centerstage at "The Standard" at Restaurant Row Saturday night.
The event raised money for the Tohoku area of Japan, which was hit hard by the earthquake and tsunami last year.
Musicians from both Japan and Hawaii performed.
Saturday night’s event leads up to Sundays annual Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii at the Kakaako Waterfront. It kicks off at 9 a.m. and goes till sunset.
