Army reservist and congressional candidate Charles Djou is heading back from Afghanistan.
Djou has been deployed in the region since last September.
His campaign says he is expected back in Hawaii in a matter of weeks.
Djou is a major with the U.S. Army Reserves, in the 10th mountain division.
He announced his candidacy for the first congressional district last August, a month before he deployed.
