The Ala Moana checkpoint into Waikiki, just past Atkinson Drive near Hawaii Prince, could be in effect "for days" officials say.
It’s due to dignitaries in area hotels. It did not close at midnight Friday as other checkpoints did. Take alternate route into Waikiki.
City officials are still determining the impact, if any, on bus routes for the work week.
