Chow adds three more to recruiting list

The University of Hawaii head football coach Norm Chow added three more to his first recruiting class today.

The headliner of the bunch was six-foot-four, 300 pound, prep offensive lineman Gus Lavaka of Kearns, Utah. The three-sport star in the Beehive State has earned all-league honors in football, wrestling and bastketball.

Joining Lavaka is six-foot-four JC All-American tight end, out of Cerritos College in California, Clark Evans. He had nine touch downs in 2011 as the former Colorado quarterback before that.

Rounding out the bunch is six-foot-two cornerback Ronald Fields of San Mateo Junior College.

Since becoming head coach on December 21, Chow has locked down six recruits. The national Letter of Intent signing day is on February 1.
