The City Council will vote on a resolution on Nov. 14 to have Joey Manahan serve out the rest the term for City Council District 7. Romy Cachola resigned from that office on Oct. 31 in preparation for the election to be in the House of Representatives.
Manahan will serve until January 2, 2013.
He previously served as vice speaker in the state House of Representatives.
