City crews will clean-up graffiti and trash 24-7 during APEC

The city of Honolulu is doing everything it can to keep the city clean during the APEC summit.

And that means graffiti.

"Leading up to APEC we’ve done everything we can to eliminate the graffiti what we’re going to do during APEC is have crews either working or on call 24-7 from Nov 7-Nov 13 to eradicate graffiti as needed," says Westley Chun, Honolulu department of facilities and maintenance director.

The crews are prepared to clean or paint over graffiti.. and replace damaged signs.

Those crews will also be removing trash and debris and moving barricades as needed.
