A store in Iwilei that had its roof torn off by a dust devil over the weekend is working to patch up the gaping hole.
Surveillance video captured the dust devil that knocked over a stack of pipes and ripped off a portion of the roof, tossing it into the parking lot.
On Monday, the store supervisor had an electrician assess the damage. On Tuesday, a contractor is expected to come to the store for evaluation.
Total damage to the building has not yet been tallied.
The store is doing business as usual.
