The Department of Parks and Recreation will implement an online camping permit reservation system March 9.
This will allow users to apply online for campsites in the city’s 17 parks that allow camping. Permits are issued two weeks in advance. Once the system begins users can apply online every Friday at 5 p.m.
After March 9, Satellite City Halls will no longer issue camping permits. They can be issued in person at the Department of Parks and Recreation Permits Section.
