Hawaii residents and businesses lost $51.4 million in 2024 to cyberscammers, according to the FBI’s Internet Crime Complaint Center (IC3). This staggering figure represents the hard-earned dollars set aside by Hawaii residents for retirement savings, investment capital, and other valuable goals. Unfortunately, this number has grown each year as scammers become more sophisticated.
