Comedienne Margaret Cho is making a stop in Hawaii on her next world tour.
Cho will perform on Maui at the Castle Theatre on Feb. 8 then do two shows in Honolulu at the Hawaii Theatre on Feb. 9 as a part of her Mother tour for 2013.
Cho, whose comedy blends hilarious glimpses of her Korean-American family life with ironic and infinitely funny commentary on political and social issues, has twice been nominated for a Grammy Award for Best Comedy Album of the Year, most recently for her 2010 release, "Cho Dependent." The subsequent DVD, recorded during her tour of the same name, garnered critical praise and commercial success, cementing her stature as one of America‘s most intriguing and engaging comedy icons.
