Honolulu police closed Kalaeloa Blvd. at Kauhi St. near Campbell Industrial Park, after a construction crane hit some power lines.
It happened around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Hawaiian Electric officials say the accident caused cracks in two poles.
About 10 customers in the surrounding area will remain without power through the night, while crews fix the poles.
There were no serious injuries reported.
