Crews search Kailua Beach after report of human torso in the water

Search and rescue crews with the Honolulu Fire Department spent about an hour in the water at Kailua Beach Tuesday morning.

Divers were called around 9:30 a.m. after someone reported seeing a human torso in the water.

They combed the area but found no sign of a body.

Officials ended the search and say there were no reports of any overdue or missing swimmers.
