Tibetan spiritual leader the Dalai Lama will talk to students and participate in a panel discussion with Native Hawaiian leaders during a trip to Honolulu this weekend.
His trip is funded by a grant Ebay founder and chairman Pierre Omidyar and his wife Pam made to the Hawaii Community Foundation.
It is the Dalai Lama’s his first visit to Hawaii since 2008, when he went to Maui.
He arrives on Friday and leaves Tuesday.
