Seven divers had to be rescued after their boat capsized off Kualoa Beach Park Wednesday afternoon.
The boat began taking on water near Chinaman’s Hat at around 11:30 a.m.
Seven divers were with the boat, which capsized when it was hit by a large wave.
Some of the divers stayed with the boat, while others swam to the Kaneohe Sandbar and Kipapa Island.
A passing boat was flagged down and called for help.
